We provide bio-statistical support for clinical investigators. We can assist investigators with analytics for peer-reviewed publications or with applications for grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Our staff has over ten years of experience working in top academic medical institutions and analyzing patient data. These data may be extracted from electronic medical records, laboratory data, patient encounter data, insurance claims, and prescription drug claims data.
We have extensive experience utilizing common analytical tools (e.g., propensity score matching and multivariable regression analyses of longitudinal data) as well as more advanced methods (e.g., the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator [LASSO] method and latent class analysis [LCA]). Analytic tool selection depends on the nature of data and research questions of interest. Advanced methodologies are not necessarily better than regular ones. We believe obtaining meaningful data, using the right tools, and generating clinically important insights are keys to success.
